Positive: Beautiful apartment in great location. Short walk to Valletta ferry and easy access to interesting local walks with great restaurants and cafes. The bed was comfortable and the view from the balcony lovely. Ivan was instantly available to answer questions via WhatsApp and provided daily information and tips. There were a couple of snacks, a can of beer and a bottle of water for us to enjoy upon arrival.

Negative: The dishwasher was not functioning and television access was an issue. The soap, shampoo and body wash were all really watered down which was a nuisance.

Positive: The apartment is fabulous. We had the two bedroom penthouse apartment. The facilities and view were amazing, overlooking the formidable walls of the Birgu fortifications and harbour below. The beds were very comfortable, the sofa also, and the options of dining and relaxing outside were also covered. There's a downstairs bathroom with shower along with the 2 bedrooms, whereas upstairs there's a toilet and sink adjacent to the lounge and kitchen. The washer meant we could reduce the number of cases we needed to carry. There's a nice welcome basket of coffee sachets, breakfast items and beers and soft drinks in the fridge. Below the apartment is an ice cream shop which also has some essentials from cheeses and meats through beers and wines. The adjacent building has a bakery, with fresh baked - which wafts across the sundeck on the morning air. There's a few little cafes and restaurants around the square, from simple snacks through takeaway meals and nice restaurants. The bus stop is metres away, and using the tallinja app gives you options around the whole island. We received an app to help unlock the bluetooth main door, the lock box and the front door. We had issues with the lock box but the Host was immediately available via Whatsapp to resolve the issue and give us an alternative method. We received lots of local information from the Host via Whatsapp, giving us ideas and guidance for food, day trips, etc. It was a fabulous apartment, and one of our best holidays.

Negative: The wifi was weak in the bedrooms, but ok upstairs. The app has a fixed time set into it for arrival (3pm) and departure (12 noon). If you arrive early, as we had an early flight, there's no flexibility to enter the building and apartment early. Although when we departed, we were asked for our departure time to assist the host in managing the cleaning team, and we had left before 9am. The ability to offer earlier entry, when available, would have been fantastic.

Summary: A fabulous apartment in the quieter 3 Cities area.

Positive: comfortable apartment, fully equipped - all that you need is there. very nice place - nice view - with a few restaurants, cafe and bakery just downstairs. not typically touristic - which was great - to be among the local people and to experience a bit their lifestyle.

Positive: What a wonderful place to stay! It’s quiet and convenient to take day trips from with a bus stop just outside. The downstairs bakery and pizza place are great for getting breakfast or lunch, and there are plenty of great restaurants in the nearby marina area. The view from the apartment is amazing. Everything inside is recently renovated and all the necessary amenities were there. The host, Ivan, was very helpful with providing recommendations of things to do or places to visit.

Negative: The water in the shower was warm but not hot.

Positive: Just returned from a fantastic week here, accommodation is tastefully decorated,very well equipped and spotlessly clean.( A previous review mentioned access to tv channels, I found no problems accessing the multitude of free channels available, The location is in a non touristy area but there is a bar, bakery and takeaway nearby if you dont feel like stretching your legs. Ivan the host is easily contacted and is a mine of local info and suggestions for place to visit. All in all I can thoroughly recommend this apartment as a base to explore the fascinating island of Malta Btw you will need a smartphone as the door locks are controlled by an app

Positive: To begin with, the self check-in was easy and extremely convenient. There is plenty of free parking on the street so parking there was very straightforward. The place is awesome, incredibly new and had everything we needed. It's quite spacious and we had a great time. There are 2 balconies that face the sea/port so it's really pretty to wake up and have a coffee while looking at the sea. It's also very quiet so we enjoyed sleeping until late mornings with no problem whatsoever. Moreover, it was extremely clean and Ivan has been lovely sending me recommendation on where to go/eat and helping me for anything. I can't recommend this place enough, everything was just PERFECT!
